1. Intermittent Operation Protection

For continuous operation of 6–8 hours, it is recommended to shut down the pump for 30 minutes to prevent motor overheating. A timer can be configured for automated management, ensuring both adequate water oxygenation and an extended equipment lifespan.

2. Prompt Troubleshooting for Abnormalities

Immediate inspection is required if:

• Fountain height significantly decreases
• Water flow becomes irregular
• The motor emits humming or clicking noises

Power should be disconnected, and the filter screen and pump chamber should be cleaned. Check for debris such as weeds or twigs. Preventative cleaning is recommended at least once a month.

3. Long-Term Storage Procedure

For periods of disuse exceeding 15 days:

① Power off and unplug the pump
② Drain residual water using a hose
③ Rinse the impeller and seals with clean water
④ Air-dry the unit in a shaded area and store it in a moisture-proof container

Ensure the motor terminals are wrapped with waterproof tape to prevent oxidation.

4. Winterization Precautions

When water temperatures consistently drop below 5°C:

• Remove the pump from the water
• Store it vertically after complete drying
• Avoid outdoor freezing conditions
• Place desiccant in the storage area

5. Seasonal Maintenance Checklist

Before spring startup each year:

✓ Inspect cable insulation for cracks
✓ Test ground fault protection
✓ The initial run should not exceed 30 minutes for observation
